The Veterans Inc. Supportive Services for Veterans (SSVF) and Veteran Families Program assists veterans and their families experiencing homelessness or at risk of it. Services include healthcare referrals, budgeting, benefits assistance, housing counseling, and financial aid for rent, utilities, moving expenses, security deposits, transportation, childcare, emergency supplies, and legal services. To qualify, individuals must be veterans or veteran families, with a low income (below 50% of the area's median income) and either at risk of eviction or scheduled to move into permanent housing within 90 days.
The Warrior Alliance assists veterans by connecting them to Veteran Service Organizations, government agencies, businesses, educators, and other community resources to help them through their transition decisions.
